Finished two static versions of UX for a game last week and will be working on one to two more this week that includes artwork. Maybe I'll have enough time this week to squeeze in some time to wire things up for a test spin.

Interesting to see the effects when adding a new storyboard to Xcode. Auto layout presents interesting design problems when trying to make an app that spans all iPhones/iPad models.
Started reviewing my notes and making adjustments to game concept again today...
Expecting to hear lots of great news from Google I/O next month. Here's the latest schedule.
Time flies when you are having fun! Spent some time working on game model logic today and started to realize that I find it a little easier to write down first drafts on paper then use Xcode later. Kind of feels like writing your own instructions to yourself on what to get done in what order.
Will be spending this week primarily focused on writing several sections of code I have been thinking about for several different projects. I like to work on different projects since it helps break the monotony of working on a single project all the time.
IBM Cloud Developer Console for Apple looks like another good option to incorporate machine learning and other cloud services into iOS apps. Some are free lite versions and others require a subscription.
For a great introduction to Universal Scene Description, see Pixar's Introduction to USD site. Very useful information on the trend to standardize the interchange of 3D assets/animations.
Looking forward to the Blender 2.8 release sometime later this year. Blender makes sense to me since its offered for free and I'm using it for my personal projects. Blender is community supported and looks like they are gaining Industry support by many companies such as Pixar's Renderman.
Only thing it's a wee bit tougher to get the hang of since it's heavily dependent on shortcut keys with some oddities. First time I was using it I couldn't even select anything! Turns out they have the default mouse click select on the right side button versus the left button to select. π€¨π
I've been using it to make some models for testing in SceneKit which has led me to other challenges when it comes time to use them in Xcode. Sadly π’ there is very little quality information out there for using Blender for Xcode. Once I get a good workflow/technique out of using Blender for Xcode (including using Model I/O) I'll write more about it.

Working on getting next game project ready. For this one Iβve been more focused on using an entity component system instead of class inheritance. Itβs way more flexible to build out as games get more complex as you add more interacting elements to your game.
