Next iOS game almost ready for release by March 2019 πŸ€–

Made it over the main hurdle of getting everything working in my next iOS game over the last few weeks. This time around I decided to maintain different methods of tracking my progress to see what works best in development. In a nutshell, storyboards are the way to go. In the next few weeks I’ll be adding music/sound effects and changing a few of the graphical elements as well as continued testing on physical devices. πŸ˜…

Machine learning days and moving timelines...πŸ˜†

Last March when Apple announced they are supporting IBM Watson Services for Core ML, I tried out a few test projects using machine learning models and quickly found out how powerful these systems can be. Since my experience was only with pre-made models supplied by either IBM or Apple, I found it necessary to dive right into learning how to build custom machine learning models. After now completing both of Google’s specializations in machine learning on Coursera, I feel more confident to take on and make custom ML models.

As well as learning more about ML, I have continued to pluck along at making new iOS games different than my previously released games. I had to move around all my game/art/music projects to a different timeline while adjusting projects to new concepts such as ML. Since all of my projects are done in my spare time, I am hopefully be able to continue them and release a few in early 2019. πŸ˜‰

Logic Pro rocks! πŸŽ‰

Wow, Logic Pro is really packed with a lot of stuff!  Much more than I expected to see in there. Love the ability to use the various synths to modify patches. Still need to make more sound effects/music for various game projects. Having fun here!  πŸ˜†

On the app side, updated to Xcode 10.1 and will also need to take time to review the new submission requirements for the latest OS upcoming releases.  Swift is now at 4.2 but no changes needed for my current projects.
